Redmond Studioplex is a housing RFP response to redefine seasonal and temporary housing for an infill site in Central Oregon. Consisting of a three-story timber frame structure, the project proposes affordable, workforce housing that emphasizes a generous common space with compact living units. The Studioplex concept offeres a systemic and thoughtful approach on short-stay, worker housing, that sheds light onto an often overlooked demographic that too heavily relies on exploitative, and poorly-designed housing.
